Users

Manage all your internal users.

Users is an operator within the GoRules platform. They are defined with these properties:

  • First name - optional
  • Last name - optional
  • Email
  • Type
    • Owner - can do anything
    • Admin - can do anything except delete organisation
    • Author - can create a project
    • Member - can only access projects

Note: There can be only one owner of the organisation.

Invite users

To invite a user:

  1. Navigate to Users under Administration from dashboard side menu
  2. Click on Invite users
  3. Enter emails
  4. Confirm

Update a type

  1. Navigate to Users under Administration from dashboard side menu
  2. From actions in the table, click on More > Update type
  3. Fill out the form
  4. Press Update

Disable/Activate user:

  1. Navigate to Users under Administration from dashboard side menu
  2. From actions in the table, click on More > Disable/Activate
  3. Press OK

Note: disabling user will also cancel active user sessions.

Removing a user

  1. Navigate to Users under Administration from dashboard side menu
  2. From actions in the table, click on More > Remove
  3. Press OK

Note: you can only remove user that has been previously disabled.
